Tasting Notes
The Babych Family’s love of food, wine, family and friends inspired this limited edition wine. This small batched artisan wine was created and produced in the Okanagan Valley in collaboration with the Toor family of the award winning Desert Hills Estate Winery. This friendship and partnership has brought to reality a life long passion. This old world style wine is made with the best new world grapes the Okanagan’s Black Sage bench has to offer. This wine opens up beautifully with decanting or can be cellared and enjoyed at a later date, and can be enjoyed with most foods and is wonderful for any occasion.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair Dave's Barrel Selection with a grilled flat iron steak with blue cheese butter, or try it with Mediterranean lamb burgers.

Needs a bit of time to open up. Best to give it some air for a couple of hours. Then...it's a very enjoyable wine! Recommended for sure!

For the price a lovely little south okanagan meritage type blend. Full of the mineral and cherry notes typical of the region with lots of tannins. Good to drink now but give it a couple more years and it should be dynamite. A good investment at this price point. I say a grilled ribeye and fried mushrooms would accompany this nicely. Or all by its lonesome. Cheers.
