2019 Desert Hills Mirage

2019 Mirage shows beautiful notes of brambleberry, blackberry, red licorice, raspberry, and black plum skin explode on the palate framed by warming baking, rich vanilla, and cocoa powder. Well integrated tannins and a wonderfully long finish make this Meritage blend our Flagship! Drink this lovely bottle over the next 10-12 years.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot

Our Mirage 'meritage' blend is selected from a combination of our collective vineyards located in the Southern Okanagan. The finest fruit of the vintage was hand harvested and carefully sorted before being destemmed. Fermentation proceeded steadily and each lot, separately in a stainless steal tank using a combination of indigenous and cultivated yeast. Three daily pump overs extracted rich colour and tannins. After the varietals were blended together, the wine was aged for 16 months in 10% new French oak.
