Blend:  40% Cab Franc, 28% Cab Sauv, 25% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot

Tasting Notes:

Pronounced notes of preserved cherries, red apple skin and red liquorish jump from the glass leading the way to a bold palate of black plum skin, blackberry, dark chocolate, baking spice and mesquite. This beauty is full bodied with well-defined tannins and a finish that lasts forever! Enjoy now or age for 10+ years.

Malolactic: 100% in barrel

Winemaking:  Each vineyard block was hand harvested and kept cold prior to being de-stemmed and lightly crushed into out open and closed top tanks. Cold soaked for 5 days with twice daily pump overs, totaling 21-25 days of total maceration depending on varietal. All lots were aged separately in select French Oak barrels, 20% new Nadalie. After 16 Months of elevage we assemble our blend and then put it back into barrel for 8 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
