This September 15th Desert Hills Estate Winery (twitter@Deserthillswine) will once again attend the wonderful ChefmeetsBCGrape fundraising series held by The Arts Club Theatre Company (twitter@theArtsClub). Going into its 12th year ChefmeetsBCGrape features a myriad of restaurants pairing their culinary creations with 90 B.C. wineries pouring 300+ award winning wines. This year Desert Hills will be teaming up with the Lift Bar & Grill (twitter@liftbarandgrill) and Chef Soojin to hopefully take another top place finish during the evenings festivites.
The event will be held at the lovely Vancouver Convention Centre East, taking over ballrooms A,B & C for the day. The intimate signature tasting will start at 7pm and taste guests through a line of culinary & wine making genius presented by the men and women who created them. This year Desert Hills will be serving the 2015 Gamay Noir with Smoked Sturgeon, Dark Soy & Nori Emulsion, Putanesca Jam & Squide Ink Rice Puff prepared by Chef Soojin. While there guests can talk with Desert Hills owner Randy Toor along with some of the key winemaking and marketing staff.
