We planted the first Syrah vines in the South Okanagan on our Estate Three Boys Vineyard and now farm two other vineyards on the Black Sage Bench. Throughout the south Okanagan, we farm five vineyards and have over 80 acres under vine.
THREE BOYS VINEYARD
The vineyard was purchased in 1988, planted with Vitis Vinifera in 1994, and now makes up the 25-acre home vineyard site for Desert Hills Estate Winery.
EAGLE'S NEST VINEYARD
Eagle's Nest was established in 2006 & aquired by the Toor brothers a year later. It now has 15 acres under vine, planted with merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and petit verdot.
SAGE BRUSH VINEYARD
Sage Brush Vineyard was planted by our founders in 2007 with 19 acres of Bordeaux varietals.
The vineyard was purchased in 1988, was planted with Vitis Vinifera in 1994. Just north of Osoyoos, it provides consistently beautiful fruit.
Eagle's Nest was established in 2006 & aquired by the Toor brothers a year later. It now comprises 15 acres.
All Desert Hills Estate vineyards are managed with sustainable viticulture practices. No harsh sprays are used, & tractor passes are kept to a bare minimum. We farm low yields & high quailty. Harvest sees us hand pick & hand sort our grapes prior to crush. Quailty is always paramount.
